BACKFLOW PREVENTER INSPECTION

All irrigation systems begin at the backflow preventer. A backflow preventer prohibits water fom leaving the irrigation system and entering your drinking water. A backflow preventer is required by law and your city or town building codes will dictate the type of preventer used in your system.

The backflow preventer is where you will find the irrigation system shut off valve. In case of emergency, use this valve to stop the water supply to the irrigation system.
